Description
The Snow Solar Telescope sits at the top of this 150 foot tower. It is located at the Mount Wilson Observatory in the San Gabriel Mountains of Los Angeles. The tower was the first telescope installed at Mt. Wilson,and is the only one still used for research today, mostly by grad students. The telescope contains mirrors and once did ground-breaking work in studying sunspots.
