Description

A waving stature of Santa, decked out in sunglasses, beckons the children at Christmas time in sunny California. The 18 foot tall Santa once sat for 52 years on top of a toy store along Santa Claus Lane in Carpinteria. While there, it was used to advertise, a kiddy train ride, a play land, and petting zoo. The familiar landmark was removed to its present location along Highway 101 in Oxnard, sometime in the 1990's.
