I ran down the beach to get this image of the setting sun under the Pismo Beach Pier in the central coast area of California. It has a misty, ethereal quality that I love. The Pismo Pier has been undergoing renovations lately, so the pylons are new. I kind of miss the old wooden posts with barnacles and tar all over them!
