Description
The tallest covered bridge in the United States is located at Covered Bridge Park in Felton, California. This historic landmark was built in 1892. The wooden structure measures 35 feet tall and 80 feet long as it crosses the San Lorenzo River. It is now a pedestrian walkway, but for 45 years it served the community of Felton as the main entry into the small town. The bridge is in Santa Cruz County in California.
