Artist's Description

San Francisco's Natural History Museum is located in the Golden Gate Park. It has a living roof with skylights that open to control the temperature, light, and insulation of the building below. The roof has seven hills covered in vegetation. They capture 100% of the rain run-off and are low maintenance. The hills themselves are home to wildflowers, birds, and insects. They have a pleasing appearance and provide biodiversity.
