Description
The rock formations at Pinnacles National Park sometimes take on a pink hue. The glowing colors are the result of volcanic activity that took place 23 million years ago. The park itself, sits on the infamous San Andreas fault. There are many fallen boulders and vertical peaks caused by the movement of the tectonic plates. This image has added texture.
