This sign welcomes visitors to the small beach community of Cayucos, California. Cayucos is located along the popular Highway 1, south of Big Sur. This image was taken in the summer, when California's grass turns brown and golden. In the spring, the coastal hills are lush with green grasses and cattle dot the hillsides. This image has added texture.
