Artist's Description

We discovered this abandoned fishing boat in the middle of a grassy yard in Moss Landing, California. The quaint fishing village is located between Santa Cruz and Monterey on Highway 1. It has a working harbor with over 600 boats, a huge power plant, a marine laboratory, and abundant wildlife in the nearby Elkhorn Slough. Many of the buildings and businesses are empty, however.
