Description
Street art in an urban city like Los Angeles, can take many forms. This is an example of throw-ups or wheat posters, also called flyposting. A sticky paste is make out of wheat flour and water and is used to paste the posters or artwork onto a surface. Street art is meant to be thought provoking or to give a message. I don't know what message is for the zebra, but a zebra is supposed to symbolize balance, peace, individuality, and clarity. The strip of repeating buffaloes might represent "Buffalo Rising" a magazine that covers grassroots movements. I get a kick out of the poster on the left which advertises "The Ultra Glob Show, featuring Ken the Magic Corner God!"
