Description
Red Hot Pokers line the pathway called the "Strand", in Manhattan Beach, California. The succulents are also called torch lillies or poker plants. They can grow up to five feet tall, and flower in the summer with bright torch-shaped orange, red, or yellow flowers. The strand is a pathway that is 26 miles in length. It starts in Will Rogers Beach in Pacific Palisades, and extends to Torrance Beach, following the coast of the Santa Monica Bay.
